Hello, Longwood Families!
Flashlights and Forts Fun!
Our recent Positive Behavior Interventions and Supports (PBIS) Celebration, themed "Flashlights and Forts," was a tremendous success! Students had a blast engaging in creative construction and enjoyed a cozy spot to enjoy a favorite book. This school-wide celebration was for demonstrating responsibility during the month of January. Responsibility included practices such as: completing learning tasks showcasing their best effort, taking care of their belongings, following our school-wide expectations, and helping others. Way to go, Lions!
Longwood Leaders:
On Friday, we recognized our outstanding Longwood Leaders for exemplifying the trait for January: Responsibility. Congratulations to all our responsible students who contribute to making our school a great place to learn and grow! Please see photos below of our Leaders!
As we transition into February, we shift our focus to the trait of the month: Kindness. We will be looking for leaders to embody kindness in their actions and interactions.
Volunteers Needed for Friendship Parties!
Valentine's Day is just around the corner, and we're looking for volunteers to help make our friendship celebrations extra special. If you're available to lend a hand by picking up the approved snack, suggesting activity ideas, or helping out the day of the parties, please sign up HERE!
*Please note that no additional food, snacks or treats will be accepted for friendship parties. One snack will be provided for all students that meet the allergy and dietary needs of all students. We appreciate your support and understanding!
