Pilgrim's Soars Up the Pecking Order!

An enthusiastic “Thank You” to Pilgrims Athens, GA for its generous donation of $100,000 to support the culinary pathway at our very own Athens Community Career Academy (ACCA)!

The gift was presented this morning by Corey Watson, Pilgrim’s Athens complex manager, and Seandre’ Lee, Pilgrim’s HR manager, to ACCA CEO Jenny Williams.

Pilgrim’s- which boasts seven plants in Georgia, including the local facility on Barber Street- produces a wide variety of chicken products for distribution across the globe. The funding will be used to expand the current Culinary Career Lab, which will bear the company’s name.

Thanks to Pilgrim’s Pride for its continued investment into the Athens community and the Clarke County School District!
