Here is a list of resources and ideas from the staff at Huffman. Feel free to use this information to help your student over this time off. We appreciate your patience and more specific information will come from the district later in the week on the next steps.

At TEPSA, we are partnering with some of our favorite children's book authors & publishers to do nightly Facebook Live book readings! There may even be some surprise author visits with some of the readings!

1st Grade
1. GoNoodle.com - with the upcoming week being forecasted for rain, this website has fun and interactive ways to get your child moving and get some energy out! We use this in our classroom every single day.
2. Prodigy.com - It is an online game that tests students on math. Each child knows their login for this website!
3. Freckle.com - We have not used this website in class but I have used it previously. We have assigned each child math and reading skills they can work on over the break, teachers have e-mailed their specific class code. Reach out to your teacher if you haven't received it yet!
4. GetEpic.com - this website has hundreds of books for your child to read digitally! Ask your teacher for your class code.

Plano ISD provides many digital tools to support in-class learning, and our students will have access to these resources which are aligned to their classes through the PISD Webdesk and the student digital backpack.
