PTA Meeting Monday, March 25th - Special Guest Speaker
We will also elect officers for next school year. We would love to see you all there as well as a large number of students.
Thank you.
Student Check-In
This teacher called these “Monday Check-In” and she does them any time students have had time away from school.
It’s so easy to misinterpret behavior and its cause and this gives students a moment to reflect on their feelings. This could be a great investment in a few minutes of time to allow you to check in and follow up with kids.
Benchmark to STAAR in 3 easy steps
Ok, so nothing we do is easy. We have one of the toughest jobs there is, but we also have a passion that is unmatched.
If you know me at all, you know I love to laugh and to try to find the positives in all things. At this point in the year, there really are 3 steps:
Step 1: Review the Excel file sent to you which identifies these students
Step 2: Develop your plan of action based on the benchmark results (it was an actual STAAR released test)
Step 3: Execute that plan!
So, let your passion keep burning as we head into the homestretch. Remember to encourage your students, even those not on the 1-5 list because we want to GROW every student.
Please know that you are appreciated, every day.
Staff Development Day - Friday, March 29th
We will have breakfast tacos for you.
