All About Jews

Jews believe in the one God called Adonai (God of Abraham). Their holy book in TaNaKh. The three capital letters represent Torah, Nevi'im, Ketuvim. Their key beliefs are prayer, studying holy book, and following commandments. The Sabbat is Friday evening to Saturday evening without eating any food beside coshes food. Jews place of worship is the synagogue. Their worship leaders are called teacher or rabbi. They have three sects: Orthodox, conservative, and reformed. Their holy days are Yom Kippur. That is when they ask for forgiveness. They fast and pray all day. They try to be like angels. Other holy days are Hanukkah, Passover and Rosh Hashunah which is the Jewish new year where they pray and want a sweet year. They blow a horn in the morning and eat apples dipped in honey. A holy site to the Jews are Jerusalem because it is a sacred city of the prophets.
