Student Response Tools

Answer Pad

AnswerPad, formerly TapIT, is an interactive, graphics-based student response system that can provide teachers with immediate feedback on students' comprehension of the content being taught. It features a variety of response types, drawings, canvases, and templates available to students on any device with an internet connection.

Several features are free, including the basic account and some of the templates, but some options require a premium account. Teachers utilize the web-based teacher interface, while the students log-in using a classroom code.

With Classkick, students work assignments on their iPad and get help from teachers and peers. Teachers create assignments, see all their students’ work in real-time, and give LOTS of student feedback. Best of all, students can help each other anonymously.

Kahoot in the Math Classroom

Kahoot is a game-based classroom response system. Teachers can create quizzes (called Kahoots) for their students to play, including standard question/answer quizzes, discussions, or surveys. Kahoots are able to be created or played using any device with an internet connection. Register for a free account at www.getkahoot.com, and join a Kahoot at http://kahoot.it.
