Conductors, Semiconductors,

by Emmanuel lauzandier

what is conductors

conductors are materials that freely allow the flow of electrons with very little resistance .

Examples of conductor would be things like water copper, iron.

what is semiconductor

semiconductor: are materials that do not allow electors to flow freely but do not directly stop them either. semiconductors have more resistance than conductors but less resistance than insulators.

examples of semiconductors are things like silicon[used in computer chips]

what is Insulators

insulators: are materials that greatly impede or stop the flow of electrons with very high resistance.

examples of insulators are things like glass dry air and rubber.
