MESSAGE FROM THE PRINCIPAL
Dear CMS Families,
Today was an extraordinary day at CMS as our students and staff showcased their incredible football spirit with a fantastic display of colors and team pride! The hallways were transformed into a sea of brown and orange as students celebrated their favorite football teams, including the Cleveland Browns, Pittsburgh Steelers, and other favorite players. We had ANOTHER Browns victory recess today and look forward to ANOTHER one next week. GO BROWNS!!!
Congrats to the following Advisory/Homerooms for winning the Browns Spirit Donut Contest.
4th-Ms. Schreffler and Mrs. Foglio

2nd QUARTER REPORT CARDS
Have been posted in Infinite Campus. The report card link can be located on the left-hand side under the "reports" section. Please review your child's progress with him or her and help them set attainable goals to maintain or improve their academic performance.
SLEDDING DURING RECESS!!!
We want to ensure that every child has a fantastic and comfortable experience, so please help us by ensuring your child is properly geared up for winter fun.
Sledding Gear Checklist:
- Snow pants
- Boots
- Winter jacket
- Gloves or mittens
- Hat/Hood
Students will be denied the privilege's of sledding if they are not properly dressed. Sled rides in shorts and a sweatshirt can make for a chilly and uncomfortable afternoon.
Enjoy your extended weekend.
Mr. Tomco
CMS YEARBOOKS
It’s time to order a CMS YEARBOOK! CMS yearbooks are on sale via Infinite Campus for an optional fee. We do not order extra yearbooks. To order a yearbook, log-in to Infinite Campus. On the left-hand side of the screen click “fees.” Then click on the “manage accounts” folder (this is the tab next to the shopping cart). From there click “optional payments.” You will be able to add “CMS Yearbook” to your cart and pay the $25 fee. Please contact the main office with questions on this ordering process!
Throughout the month, students have been reflecting on their MAP (Measure of Academic Progress) growth from fall to winter. We are proud of the progress each student has made, and this trait highlights the dedication and effort they have invested in their academic journey. Students will have the opportunity to participate in conferences with their teachers. These conferences will be focused on acknowledging achievements, identifying areas of improvement, and collaboratively developing goals or action steps to enhance or maintain progress in both math and reading.

PTO sponsors the Back to School Bash, 3 Holiday events, Glow Party, Topper Fest, grade level events, teacher appreciation events and more. This comes at a cost. PTO is budgeted to spend nearly $20,000 this school year. Tickets are ON SALE NOW! Food, non-alcoholic beverages and fun is included in your ticket, BYOB as you'd like.
