Mineral Wells High School students can earn high school and college credit simultaneously during the senior year. Our school offers dual credit classes on our campus for eligible junior and senior students.

Mineral Wells High School partners with area colleges and universities to provide the dual credit course work which includes: College Algebra, Economics, Government, Psychology, College Biology (2 classes) and Dual English 4 (2 classes).

iRam is a tiered structured professional development program that allow teachers to better educate themselves in the use of technology in the classroom.

Tech Tuesdays is a program designed to offer teachers an opportunity to explore different technologies and further expand their comprehension of how technology can be used in the classroom.

Although sessions are being conducted at a different campus each Tuesday at 4:00 pm, anyone from the district is invited to meet and discuss ways in which technology can be integrated in education. These discussions are intended to be a time of fun learning, inspire the imagination, and to expand the learning environment for our teachers with their mission to educate our students.

The primary purpose of the school librarian is to support instruction and act as an instructional support person on the campus level, particularly in research information and communication literacy.

Provide services and resources that allow students to develop skills in locating, evaluating, synthesizing, and using information to solve problems. Serve as teacher, materials expert, and curriculum adviser to ensure that library/media center is involved in instructional programs of the school.

The Mineral Wells ISD Apple Corps program rewards excellence in teaching by honoring outstanding Mineral Wells ISD teachers. This honorary program inducts five new teachers each school year during the regular meeting of the District's Board of Trustees. These excellent educators are chosen from a pool of teachers who have been nominated by their peers at each school. The elite group enjoys several forms of public recognition and appreciation each year.
