George Childress
George Childress was born on January 8, 1804 and died on October 6, 1841. He was a lawyer, statesman, and author of the Texas Declaration of Independence. (Written in one day!)

Samuel Houston was born on March 2, 1793 and died on July 26, 1863. He was an American politician and leader of the army that defeated Santa Anna during the Texas Revolution.

Juan Nepomuceno Seguin was born on October 27, 1806 and died on August 27, 1890. He was a political and military figure. At the Alamo he was sent to deliver a message, oce at his destination Sam Houston ordered him to stay, therefore, he did not get killed at the Battle of the Alamo.
