The First Annual Powder Puff Charity Football Game was an amazing success! Ending in a tie and raising nearly $2,000, this is sure to be an LHS tradition. Thank you to Coach Crockford, Coach McDonough, and all of the students and staff who made this happen.

Laconia Middle School
On November 6th, LMS Music teacher, Nathan Wotton, presented to the Laconia School Board. Mr. Wotton informed the Board about the revamped curriculum that allows differentiating instruction, he reported on competencies, transferable skills, instruction and engagement and how the curriculum aligns with Portrait of a Graduate. Students did a wonderful demonstration with their ukuleles and bucket drums using the music program, Yousician. Click here to watch the drumming performance.

On November 1st, Elm Street School celebrated Fall Harvest with shape scarecrows, candy corn counting and making ramps for our pumpkins.
Building to learn in 2nd grade! Mrs. Gamlin’s class is learning about rural, urban, and suburban communities.
Thank you Kiwanis Club of Laconia for sponsoring the KARES program which provides literacy enrichment & free books to our grade 3 readers.

Benefit Dinner On Friday, November 15, 2019
From 6-9 PM
Ten year old daughter Brianna Downing was diagnosed with a grade four glioma brain tumor in march of 2018. Brianna's family has endured her going through chemotherapy and multiple surgeries. The goal of the benefit dinner is to try to ease the financial burden and hardship they find themselves in. All proceeds will go this family in hopes for some relief before the holidays.
