What to do with your child's Chromebook before school starts!

Hello Interboro Families!

I hope you had a wonderful summer!

As we approach the beginning of the school year we wanted to reach out and give a few tips that will ensure your child's Chromebook is ready for the start of the year!

Before your child reports for their first day of school, we ask that you check their Chromebook for the following:

  1. It is charged and the battery doesn't die quickly when not on the charger.
  2. All of the keys work.
  3. Screen/keyboard has no damage.
  4. Make sure your child can login.

Should you have any issues with logging in or missing/damaged parts please email TECHHELP@INTERBOROSD.ORG.

The Technology Team will work with you to resolve your issue. The sooner problems are reported the easier it will be to have their device repaired and ready for the first day!

Helpful Tips When Emailing Support

I have a couple of tips that will help expedite your support request and get your issue resolved faster. Having the following included in your email is the best way for us to help!

  • Name of your child
  • Their grade and building
  • The best contact information and time to reach you
  • Descriptive explanation of the issue

New to the District?

All newly enrolled students will have a Chromebook, charger and bag available to them on the first day of school! My team is in the process of getting them set up as we speak.
