Vacuole
- The vacuole is the organelle that holds water and other substances.
- The vacuole is looks like a blob of empty space.
- Both animal and plant cells have vacuoles.
- It is generally bigger in plant cells.
Nucleus
- The nucleus is the control center of the cell.
- It contains the instructions (DNA) of the cells.
- The nucleus looks like a spherical object in the cell.
Lysosome
- The lysosome is the digestive part of the cells
- This organelle breaks down unwanted substances and waste.
- Lysosomes look like little balls in the cell.
Nucleolus
- The nucleolus is inside of the nucleus.
- The nucleolus makes ribosomes.
- The nucleolus looks like a hole in the nucleus.
