The Three Major Religions in Europe
Judaism, Christianity, Islam
Torah is the first five books of Moses, given by God. Judaism has the Star of David. Christianity is divided up into 3 main groups, Eastern Orthodox, Roman Catholic, and Protestants. The Five Pillars for Muslims are prayer, giving to the world, and the belief in one God.
Judaism
There are three main types of Judaism, Orthodox, Conservative, and Reform, which is the least traditional of the three. There are ten rules for Jews (the Ten Commandments) that Jews usually have to follow. Jews go to a holy place to pray and worship called a Temple, or Synagogue. The holy book is Torah.
Christianity
There are five books from Moses called the Bible. The three main types of Christianity, Eastern Orthodox, Roman Catholic, and Protestant. They believe that Jesus is the Son of God.
Islam
Muslims believe in the Five Pillars, prayer, giving, the belief in one God, and a trip to Mecca. The two main types of Muslims are Sunnis, and Shiites. It is the Main religion in the Middle East, North Africa, and Asia.
Conclusion
There are a lot of different religions that people have in Europe, but the major religions are Judaism, Christianity, and Islam. A Jewish language is called Hebrew. There is a Hebrew alphabet too. An Islam language is called Arabic. There are multiple Islam languages, but Arabic is the main one people speak.
