A racecar driver is going at a constant speed of 160 mile per hour.
A variable which can be assigned any number. My independent variable is H, which is the amount of hours driven.
A variable that depends on one or more other variables. My dependent variable is X, which is the total distance driven.
A variable that never changes. My constant variable is speed, 160 miles per hour.
H (hours) times 160 equals X total distance driven
