BUSINESSES NEEDED - NEW FAMILY WELCOME FOLDERS
Van Alstyne Independent School District is putting together NEW FAMILY WELCOME FOLDERS to assist those new to our school district. Our mission is to help new families engage successfully into their school district and community. Our vision is to partner families within the schools with new families to inspire a smooth transition into the district, provide a snapshot of local services to families, and focus on creating a premier school district by encouraging, motivating, and building stronger relationships sooner with new families while incorporating valuable community resources.
We would like to take this opportunity to invite your local business to participate.
There is NO FEE to be included in the VAISD NEW FAMILY WELCOME FOLDERS.
If your business would like to participate in this exciting opportunity to receive free advertising and be added into the VAISD NEW FAMILY WELCOME FOLDERS, you may choose one of two options:
1) Provide your business information (name, address, website, phone, type of service) to be included on a welcome list of Van Alstyne businesses which will be inside each folder. If you choose this option, please email Tiffany Chartier with your business information at newcomers@vanalstyneisd.org .
2) You may also include a one-page informational flyer/coupon/menu of services, etc., to be added into each folder. Please provide fifty copies of your insert, as we will begin by creating fifty individual family folders.
Contact Tiffany Chartier via email once the inserts are ready at newcomers@vanalstyneisd.org . Please note, coupons would be best if they did not have an early expiration as we will be using these folders for an extended period.
Note: Any business which provides an insert will automatically be added to #1, so please include business contact information for the welcome list when emailing Mrs. Chartier.
We will finish gathering business information by the end of April, so please have your responses in by this time. Thank you for considering participating in this gift to new families.
This is a win-win for our school district and community!
