What?

As he came into power his first task was to restore order and overcome problems at home. After his house was in order he turned to the problems facing his army on the front lines of the empire. He also captured Samaria, the Israelite capital. He faced many rebellions in his time like the Syria and Palestine. He was also the king of the Assyrians

Where?

Sargon lived in Calah (modern Nimrud).


Why?

Sargon was important because he was king of the Assyrians and he conquered the Israelites in his time of power.
