ELPAC
The summative English Language Proficiency Assessments of California (ELPAC) will be administered both remotely and in person this year. The testing schedules I have created are primarily outside of your child’s synchronous day, as I always try to minimize taking students out of class for assessments. However, at times I have had to excuse a student from class. CMS and CHS families and students, thank you for coordinating times with me via email, text, and phone calls AND a huge thank you to the students who have been having to attend extra school. I will begin assessing in the elementary schools very soon.
UPDATED ELPAC SCHEDULE
- CHS – February & March
- CMS – March
- Village & Strand– March – June
FAQ’s

HAPPY MINUTE UPDATE AND INFORMATION:
HAPPY MINUTE UPDATE AND INFORMATION:
We are excited that students are able to go back to in person learning!
Don’t forget that we are offering Happy Minute for grades 4th and 5th. (Due to little or no attendance, Happy Minute for 2nd and 3rd grade will be put on hold until future notice.)
Happy Minute is a semi structured peer cyber social weekly event. The kids will engage in socializing activities and just get to know each other in a low stress, monitored environment. We have organized a few games, but will also let the students set the pace and conversation topics.
We are adjusting the Happy Minute schedule to accommodate our Bridge and in-person students at the same time. Therefore, the Happy Minute schedule will be changed to 11:30-12:15 on Tuesdays starting on February 9th! Below is the link 😊
