Message From Your Leadership Team
Please provide your feedback regarding our school start time before the end of the day today (3/6/20). Link to the Start Time Survey We tend to only hear from those that are unhappy with a change that has been made. We NEED to hear from everyone as the only way to make informed decisions is when we have heard from the voices of ALL of the stakeholders (happy, unhappy or indifferent). Thank you for taking the time to provide your feedback.
Reminder: Upon arrival for your parent-teacher conference, you’ll need to go through the main office to check in.
Please check out all of the flyers in this newsletter. Lots of exciting and important information is included. A plug to save the date (March 28th) for the 1st annual Plank South vs. Plank North staff charity basketball game. Our students and families are encouraged to attend and students should wear their field trip shirts while they cheer on our staff! This is a free event but donations are encouraged and will be donated to Golisano Children's Hospital.
Warm Regards,
Jen Sullivan (Principal) and Jill Doyle (Assistant Principal)

Hand Washing is SO Important
Please help us teach your child the importance of hand washing. We have worked on this at school and would love the help reinforcing the importance at home!
The CDC recommends this hand washing process:
- Wet your hands with clean, running water (warm or cold), turn off the tap, and apply soap.
- Lather your hands by rubbing them together with the soap. Lather the backs of your hands, between your fingers, and under your nails.
- Scrub your hands for at least 20 seconds. Need a timer? Hum the “Happy Birthday” song from beginning to end twice.
- Rinse your hands well under clean, running water.
- Dry your hands using a clean towel or air dry them.

Some items in store still have Box Tops that can be clipped and turned in at school! We collect at the end of each month. Proceeds fund the PTSA events throughout the year!
