Weekly Update: Tulsa Testing
1/6/2015
5th Grade Writing Test FYI
The writing test is less than 50 days away! You can help ensure your students are ready to master the test by sharing the online Parent, Student, Teacher Guide with your 5th grade teachers. The practice test reflects the format students will encounter on the actual test. Students will read 2 passages along with a writing prompt. Included in the guide are planning pages and response pages for practice, too. You will be able to pick up your PTSGs and Testing Binder toward the end of January-- we will let you know!
Mark your calendar to attend one of the Writing Test trainings on Tuesday, February 16, 2016 at 9:00am OR at 2:00pm the Enrollment Center. We will hold these trainings in the former Gym, across from the assessment rooms. You will be able to pick up your writing tests following the training on 2/16.
Make plans to train staff members who will be administering the Writing Test. Use the training PowerPoint, SDE Test Prep Manual, and sign in sheets from PD360 to keep track of the Test Administrators and Proctors which you have trained.
If you have any questions, please contact Erin.
