Sharing O2 with one person daily
- Hand out a TOM, Business Card or Rack Card to anyone you encounter throughout the day
- Send business cards in with your bills
- Leave business cards with the bill when checking out at a restaurant
- Call a former host or customer
- Email a friend, host, or customer
- Mail out a TOM, supplement or rack card to 5 people
- Set up a Show and Tell appointment (meet someone to show them our new products over coffee. It could result in a sale, JB or a new team member!)

- Send a Private Message to 2 people on your FB list and ask them to host a JB or do a Take Out Party
Book 4 Jewelry Bars per month
Booking Jewelry Bars at your Jewelry Bars
Everyone has their own personal preference as to how they entice their guests with bookings. Use which ever method you feel comfortable with. The important key is to at least USE a method to get bookings at your existing Jewelry Bars. If one method does not work, do not give up. There may be some JBs that you may not get any bookings. Try at your next JB! Never give up!!
- Have a booking tree
- Play a booking game (There are SO many on the internet but here is just one link you can visit: http://www.homepartyplannetwork.com/homepartygames/)
- Have a sign next to your check out that says "If I don't ask you to host a Jewelry Bar, your shipping is FREE!"
- Three dangles on a chain. Ask the host to choose from one of the less expensive chains that she may like. Add 3 assorted dangles to the chains and have host wear the chain. Advise the guests to select a dangle from the host's chain if they want to book a JB. If all 3 dangles are selected, the host keeps the chain!
- Ask each guest "Have you looked at my calendar to book your JB?" If they say "No", show them your calendar and ask which date would they prefer. If they say "Yes" show them your calendar and ask which date would they prefer. Some may say "No thank you" and that's ok. Don't take it personally! Remember sometimes it takes 10 "No's" to get to a "YES!"
Bookings at Events
Have a booking tree on your table
Play a booking game (see above link)
Have a raffle or information card ready to attain attendee's information including a yes/no question about interest in booking
Offer a coupon or free charm for booking their JB the day of the event
Bookings from Customer Care Calls, Emails, and Follow Up
Go through your order forms and call those who may have ordered a RG locket and let them know we now have RG earrings. How would they like to earn a free pair? If someone ordered a black locket, let them know about our new black pave crystal hoops.
Call 3-5 former customers and hosts to inform them of our great new Host Exclusive, Spring TOM or Women We Love supplement.
Not sure what to say? Here are just a few suggestions:
A Few Word Choices – Former Customers
“Hi ________ this is ________. We met last month at Christie’s Jewelry Bar. Do you have a quick minute?
(It’s important to always ask permission to continue)
I made myself a note to call you when I was scheduling Jewelry Bars for next month.(Wait for something)
You are going to be so glad you waited to host until now, guess what we have for our Hostesses this month…I just know you are going to LOVE all the great new things we have announced. We have our amazing Hostess Exclusive and a brand new catalog.I was curious, what would you think about getting a few of these soon-to-be new favorites for free?”
A Few Word Choices – A Prospect You Have Not Called Yet
“Hi there _________ . I am calling to offer you an apology! I was
just catching up on some paper work and I realized that a while back you and I had chatted about the idea of your hosting a Jewelry Bar in order to help you earn some jewelry for free and half price. I am so sorry that this past season things got so very busy and I wasn’t able to follow up. I hope you’ll forgive me! You are going to be so glad though, because we have a new Hostess rewards program that you are going to LOVE! May I share a bit about it with you? Tell me what are your thoughts about hosting a fun Jewelry Bar with your friends next month?”
A Few Word Choices – Someone on your Whooo Do You Know List
“Tammy I am so excited that I have start my own Origami Owl business. You are on my list of top ten people I would most like to have as a first Hostess. How would you feel about having some friends over for fun but simple get together so I could show off this fabulous line of customizable jewelry? I know it will be a blast and you will get jewelry of your own for FREE just for helping me get going?”
Hint- STOP TALKING RIGHT THERE!
“Suzy, I think you are a hoot. I want you to be a charter Hostess with my new business called Origami Owl. What do you think about earning some free jewelry in exchange for hosting a Jewelry Bar this month?”
“What are your thoughts about being a premiere Hostess?”
“Aunt Sally, I’m so excited about my new Origami Owl business.
I’m thrilled you liked my website. What do you think about
getting some of your favorites for free and half price?”
A Few Word Choices – Former Hostesses
“I was just getting ready for my spring and summer Jewelry Barsand came across your information from your last Jewelry Bar. I hadso much fun with you and your friends. You’ll never believe what wehave that is new this spring. An amazing new Hostess Exclusive and tons of amazing new product. What are your thoughts on a second round of all that fun?”
IMPORTANT TO REMEMBER
• Don’t be discouraged if someone says “no” – Jewelry Bars aren’t for everyone
• Remember, “no” really means “next one”
• Remember a “yes” is right around the corner!
Sponsoring 3 New Designers per Month
Speaking from the heart goes a long way. When you are passionate about what you do, it shows. When you are sharing the amazing O2 opportunity, remember your WHY? What attracted you to Origami Owl? Is it the Mission Statement? Is it the lockets? Is it the opportunity to change your life? Take some time to think about your why, write it down and keep it with you. When you share the opportunity with other, be sure to share. People connect with people and their stories. Here are some additional tips:
LISTEN LISTEN LISTEN! Sometimes we are so excited to talk about O2 that we forget to breathe and listen to what others have to say or ask. Ask THEM questions about what they are looking for. Are they looking to pay off a bill or take a special vacation? Are they looking for a new career or something part time to give them some "me" time.
Follow up - If someone asks you questions about how you got started, how often do you do JBs, etc., these are key indicators of someone who is interested in the opportunity. Follow up with them, invite them for coffee or tea. Ask them if they want to attend your next JB or event with you. But ALWAYS follow up!
Many HOSTS become Designers! Your host's party is coming to a close and she just had an amazing party. Let your host know how much free product she earned. Compliment her on what a GREAT JB she just had and how much fun her friends had. Ask her if she ever considered starting her own Origami Owl business. If she is interested, you could offer to allow her party to be HER PARTY. Once she joins, she could enter the orders, earn the host rewards and have enough commission to cover her kit!
START YOUR OWN BUSINESS! Change your wording from JOIN MY TEAM to START YOUR OWN BUSINESS! Using the words Join my team puts the focus on you, Start your own business puts the focus on THEM! It's empowering, encouraging and exciting to start your own business.
Never make assumptions. Never assume or rule ANYONE out from becoming a new Designer. Don't assume that the person is going to be just like you. Don't assume someone who has a full time career would not be interested. You will never grow your garden if you don't plant the seeds!
PUTTING AN ACTION PLAN IN PLACE WILL HELP YOU TO ACHIEVE YOUR GOALS OF THE O2 1-4-3. GO FOR IT AND LET ME HEAR YOUR SUCCESS STORIES!!
How to BUMP UP those Jewelry Bar SALES
Have items grouped together to appear as a SET. Display the rose gold hoops with a rose gold locket, show the black pave crystal hoops with a black locket. Ask if they want the matching silver hoops with the hot pink dangle to go with the twist locket.
Suggest an add item within the $10.00 range. Ask if they want to add a plate or dangle to their purchase. Show how the plates and dangles can change their look, especially the window plates.
Display your product in an attractive manner showing features and versatility of our product. Display the extender with multiple lockets and/dangles and tags. Display the new crystal clasp with the locket and upgraded chains. Have your guests have a fashion show using the multi layered chain, over the heart chain, and layered bracelets.
Many repeat customers may already have lockets so show them the new line of earrings, suggest the crystal clasp or extender with a mini locket. If they have the link locket bracelet, suggest the over the heart chain. Show them a new collection of charms to change the look of their locket or a new window plate.
Play music at your JBs. Music makes people HAPPY and studies show they spend more!
Host your own or ask your host to have a theme party such as Wine/Cheese Pairing, Mother/Daughter Tea, Martini Night, Desserts ONLY. Theme parties often attract more guests and take away the feeling of going to a "home party" or "demonstration".
Show off the layered look. Wear the 18" chain with a mini or medium locket and a 32" chain with a large locket. Add dangles and coordinate earrings to show off a stunning look!
Ask if they need any special gifts. Any upcoming birthdays, anniversaries or special events they want to commemorate.
Have some prepackaged items ready to go ESPECIALLY for the MEN. Make the process easy breezy. Have a locket with matching earrings all wrapped up and ready to go!
Have Gift Certificates handy for those that may want to give as an additional gift.
COMPLIMENT COMPLIMENT COMPLIMENT! Show your guests some LOVE! Let them know how beautiful they look! EVERY woman loves a compliment!
