Dear Thacher Families:
As we all know, student attendance is directly connected to student success. Beginning on January 9th, we are changing our process for automated attendance calls. All families will receive a call from our automated system should your student be absent from school whether or not the school was previously notified. If the school(s) are aware of the absence, you do not need to contact the school. If you have not, please do so as soon as possible. Additional reminders and information will be sent as we get closer to January 9th.
I hope this break gives everyone the chance to stop and take a breath, get healthy, and enjoy time with family. When we return on January 3rd, we will continue our tradition of easing back into school with a Pajama/Cozy Day.

Mrs. Gordon's first grade class was treated to a visit from recent Marine Boot Camp Graduate and Thacher alum, Shane Croteau, who the class wrote letters to earlier this fall. Shane is also the son of our long-serving staff member, Erin Croteau.
