Townshend Act of 1767 | June 15, 1767

As of now, the Townshend Act of 1767 will take place by the lead of

Chancellor of the Exchequer, Charles Townshend. This act will place taxes on incoming glass, lead, paper, paint, and tea imported from England to the Colonies. The act is expected to be better, more supportive than the Stamp Act and more beneficial to our country!
