The Ocelot
(Leopardus Pardalis)
The Ocelot is a wild cat found over South America, Central America, and have been reported to even be seen around southern parts of Texas and Arizona. It's fur resembels that of a jaguar and was once considered valuable. As a result, thousands were once killed for their fur. The feline was once considered an endangered species from 1972-1996 and is now classified under "Least Concern" by 2008.
