Finals Testing Schedule

Below is the schedule for finals for the 20-21 school year. Tests will be given during the normal schedule for each day.

May 20 & 21- Science and 5th Academic

May 24 & 25-Math

RMS Yearbook Distribution

For those families that purchased a 20-21 RMS yearbook, distribution for in-person students will be conducted the afternoon of May 20th. Virtual students that purchased a yearbook, distribution will be conducted through the carpool line either Thursday, May 20th from 5:00-6:00 PM, or Friday, May 21st from 10:45-11:45.

If you did not purchase a yearbook, but still wish to make a purchase, there will be limited supplies available on a 1st come/1st served basis Friday, May 21st from 8:30-9:00 in the media center. If you have any questions, please contact Ms. Linda Scheaffer

Chromebook & Charger Return - Due Tuesday

Chromebooks and chargers that have been borrowed from the school MUST be turned by Tuesday, May 25. Drop them off from 10am-3pm in the front office. Chromebooks and charging cords must be turned in by Tuesday-no exceptions. Chromebook replacements are $300 for any not returned and will be charged to the student account. We thank you for your support.

8th Grade Celebration - May 26th

It’s CELEBRATION time! We are looking forward to celebrating all our RMS 8th graders at our 8th Grade Celebration on Wednesday, May 26th. Click HERE for more details; what to bring, what to wear, lunch, and much more! Don't miss the fun!!

Book Donation Drive- Thank you!

RMS would like to thank all parents who donated to the book drive in honor of Asian Pacific American Heritage Month. The drive was organized by Ms. Wang. Ms. Wang and Ms. Li presented the books to our Principal, Ms. Bibik. These books are a great addition to the RMS Media Center collection.

Please Return All Media Center Books

If you have checked out a book, please return it to the Media Center today! Books may be returned to the front office, cart outside the Media Center or directly to Mrs. Evans in the Media Center. We appreciate your help and support!

End of Year Medication Pick Up

The deadline for picking up medication kept in the school clinic will be Thursday, May 27th at 2 pm. All medication left after 2pm on May 27th will be properly disposed. Any questions, please contact Nurse Kim Varner at ext. 300121 or

Locker Clean Out

All belongings should be removed from the lockers by the last day of school on May 27th. Anything left in the lockers will be disposed of over the summer.

The clean out schedule is as follows:

6th Grade - Monday, May 24

7th and 8th Grades - Wednesday, May 26

Summer is approaching fast! Does your son like playing basketball? If so, he should come attend the RMS Boys Basketball Camp this summer, June 7-10. RMS Panther Cross Country Summer Camp

Who: Rising 6th – 8th Graders

What: Cross Country Summer Camp

When: 7/19-7/23 FROM 9am to 11am

Where: Riverwatch Middle School (Gym parking lot)

Why: Athletes of all skill levels that have interest in running cross-country will participate in fun drills, conditioning, and 1-2 mile runs to enhance their running skills. From learning cross-country teamwork skills to learning running techniques, the athletes will grow and form into runners with a higher cross-country IQ. Players will work on breathing techniques, running techniques, finishing techniques, and so much more. Day 5 will consist of a fun color run where runners will be doused with colored powder and medals will go out to the top 3 runners. Don’t miss this FUN!
