Four out of Five stars at least!
This book never takes a break. It takes you, picks you up, and sweeps you into the plot as quick as the river that carried Bilbo and the Dwarves away from their captors in Mirkwood. It engages you and makes you never want to put it down until you've read the whole thing cover to cover.
And the greatest part is the end of this book isn't the end! This book spawned the Lord of the Rings series of three books, The Lord of the Rings movies with a total of 681 minutes of content, and the now three-part Hobbit movies. People just can't get enough of this book!
