Mrs. Bardin, Media Specialist
Fourth Graders Research
Fourth Graders enjoyed researching their Native American culture groups using nonfiction books in the library. Mrs. Bardin taught them how to take notes without copying the author's exact words!
Visiting Author
Deb Weaver, a local author, visited Kindergarten and 1st grade classes to read her first ever children's picture book! It was a draft with no pictures yet, and she encouraged the students to imagine her "word paintings" in their own minds. Then she asked them to describe to her what the pictures might look like. We will have her back when her book is published!
New Chrome Books!
The library is sporting 5 new Chrome Books for the students to use. They can search our Destiny Quest catalog, or use the school website to research.
