Vitamin C: sketch comedy web series

Because comedy is an essential nutrient

Do you like making people laugh? If you are ages nine through fifteen, here’s your chance to participate in a sketch comedy web series called Vitamin C. Think of it as a kid-friendly, rated PG, Saturday Night Live (similar to Studio C) where students are the producers, writers, actors, filmmakers and editors!

Want to be a writer (write the funny stuff), actor (act the funny stuff), a part of principal photography (a.k.a. film the thing!), or in post production (edit the final short)? Participate in one or all as you experience all the facets of creating a short film comedy sketch. The final filmed sketch will be premiered at the StoryArk Festival the evening of July 24 at the Phipps Center for the Arts where the students will also decide if they want to make a public presentation. Afterwards, all sketches will be uploaded via Vimeo onto a dedicated Vitamin C web page on StoryArk.org for a controlled viewing experience. In addition, Vitamin C will be aired on StoryArk's YouTube channel.

Student Executive Producers Lead

Maggie

Maggie may be small but she’s mighty! She is 10 years old and lives in Stillwater with her parents, little sister, older sister and an older brother. Maggie is a ‘just go for it’ kind of girl, no matter what she’s doing. She loves soccer, softball, messy and creative art, dancing, singing, and spending time with new and old friends. Maggie enjoyed being in a couple church plays and is eager to be a new member to StoryArk. The Viatmin C skit she’s looking forward to the most is “Minnesota Not so Nice.”
