3rd Edition
Chinese Exploration
I teamed up with Sandra Cao-Wilson, the global studies teacher, this week! We've been learning about birthdays in China, the Chinese New Year, and traditional dances and music! What an amazing opportunity! Make sure to talk to your kiddos about the things they learned this week. I've included some of the lessons so that you can help remind them what they can teach you.

4th Graders Start Recorders Next Week!
4th graders will need to start bringing their recorders to school the week of October 2nd. They will have the option to store them in the music classroom. They are more than welcome to take them home to practice but need to come back each week. For those that are new to Geist, we provide each student with one recorder.
Ask Me
The students have been learning some really fun songs and activities that are great for the whole family! I've been creating "Ask Me" lessons for all grade levels for students to take home and teach their families! Below are some from the month of September. The documents will help you lead your child through these fun lessons! Enjoy!
