Friday Fun Day: March 1st, 2019

THIS Friday, March 1st from 9-11:30am Granville Academy K-8 will have our first Monthly Friday Fun Day!


Each student will need their own transportation to Carolina Lanes in Henderson. Family members are invited to join us for this fun event. The cost will be $8.00 per person and will include 2 games of bowling, shoe rental and lunch, which will consist of a hotdog or hamburger and drink. This will be a great time for students to socialize, enjoy bowling, and share their school friends with their family. Please complete this form so that we know how many are planning to attend and we can get some input from you on activities you would like to see in the future.

Math, Science and Tech Support

Tutoring and support is available this week!


Join Mrs. Danielle Igims on Monday (2/25) and Wednesday (2/27) from 4:30 to 6pm for Math support at the GA Campus at TRES.


Science tutoring will be held this week on Wednesday (2/27) from 4-5:30pm with Mrs. Young.

Granville Academy Book Club

Do you like reading for fun?

If so, join the GA Book Club! The book club is just beginning and is geared toward students who enjoy reading. A GA parent will be hosting the meetings and there are hopes to include fun activities such as discussions, book signings with authors, and SNACKS! If you are interested in joining the GA Book Club, please complete this quick form.

Information for Grades 6-8

Field Trip: April 10, 2019

Mrs. Nelson & Mrs. Young are taking students to DPAC for a matinee of Percy Jackson and the Lightning Thief: The Musical. The total price of the field trip is $43.17. Please submit money to Mrs. Nelson before February 26th. Tickets must be purchased by this date. Please indicate if you are interested in your child attending and/or if you are interested in chaperoning on this form.


We are excited to be able to take students to such a fun theater event!

Science Olympiad Practice & Competition

Science Olympiad practice will be on Tuesday AND Thursday this week at NGMS & Tar River, respectively, from 1-2pm as we prepare for competition THIS SATURDAY, March 2nd. Parents of Science Olympiad members, please be on the lookout for a letter with more details about what I need from you and your student on Saturday.

Information for Grades 9-12

Attention Class of 2019!

Please complete the Granville Academy Class of 2019 form that includes information about upcoming senior dues. Senior dues will include senior breakfast, cap, gown, and 2019 tassel. All cap and gowns will be ordered and provided in time for senior portraits. All seniors must pay the senior fee in order to receive caps and gown. Graduation is Saturday, June 15th at 4 PM.
