Dear Penngrove Families,

This Penngrove Press is a combination of reminders and fun! Maybe they all end up that way, eh?

Reminders:

1. Please make SURE you have completed Aeries Data Confirmation. Yesenia most likely emailed you this week if you are have not done so. Please don't let Cherry Valley beat us with 100% participation. #wearenumber1

2. Please take 5 minutes to complete the meal application form EVEN IF YOU DO NOT USE OUR LUNCH PROGRAM. (Yes, I am yelling!) I have no idea why we don't have a better name for this "application" but let's go with it. Read details below but just for you completing the form, we receive funding and we're grateful for any little bit we get!

CONGRATS! You're completing week 3!!! Amazing! So proud of you all! (grown ups AND kids!)

Finally, I hope you caught wind of something new and exciting we launched today at Penngrove. Around the World Wednesdays!!!! Ask your child about it! Around the World Wednesdays is not optional but it is loads of fun. You can catch a glimpse of our hype video below.

If your child has ideas for spirit days, I'm still accepting them so send any fun thoughts my way.

A schedule reminder: Does this seem to be what your child is engaging in each day? If not, you may want to check in with your teacher. Your open and honest feedback is appreciated!

  • TK - K: 180 minutes or 3 hours each day
  • 1st - 3rd: 230 minutes or 3.8 hours each day
  • 4th - 6th: 240 minutes or 4 hours each day

Office Hours: Are you taking advantage of your teacher's office hours? Don't want to help your child with a specific assignment? We're here for you! Office hours scheduled each day are a time that parents can schedule with the teacher or teachers can arrange with families or students for meetings and check-ins. Please help your chid take advantage of office hours for help, questions, work completion time or maybe even just a quick hello!

Wishing you a strong end to a busy week!

Amy
