Carver Middle School Newsletter
June 7, 2020
Hopefully this newsletter finds everyone well. Our school year is nearly at a close but we have an opportunity to say our final good byes to our students. Thursday, June 11, 2020 is our drive through parade. We hope to see many parents and students between 11 am-1 pm Thursday. Parents may drive their students through our parking lots to wave goodbye to their favorite teachers!
The CCPS June learning packets are still available at the school building and a link is included in this newsletter. Paper copies may be picked up Monday-Wednesday at the school this week.
Many parents have asked about yearbooks and we are still waiting for their arrival. We hope that they will arrive this week and you will be notified as soon as they are available for pickup.
This will be the final newsletter of the school year. I will continue to provide our community with updates regarding CCPS plans for opening school this fall. We will continue to work diligently to prepare for our students to return to school as soon our public health professionals deem it safe to do so. Please be on the lookout for a face book live event this later this summer to discuss school operations for the fall of 2020-2021.
Thank you all very much for your support during the 2019-2020 school year and have a safe summer!

Special Message for 8th Grade Parents
8th Grade Parents:This is just a reminder that your child may view the presentation for and complete their Academic and Career Plan. An ACP is a personalized learning plan and course of study that aligns with your child's academic and career goals. This plan will travel with your child to high school, where high school counselors will use this plan as a tool to continue to guide your child through course selections. Please click on the following link to view the ACP presentation. At the end of the presentation, you will find a link that will take your child step-by-step to complete the plan.
