• The Training Team reserves the right to cancel workshops due to low enrollment. Sessions that do not have at least 8 registered participants 3 days prior to the session will be canceled. • You will be notified by e-mail if a class has been canceled.


• Please do not bring children to workshops or leave children unattended in the training area during workshops. Workshops are a professional learning environment and are not appropriate for children. Thank you for your cooperation.

i Love Learning with My iPad

Course Dates: May 1, 2013 at 4:15 PM to 5:30 PM

Description: Participants in this session will learn about the basic features of their iPad including general settings, the camera, opening, closing, deleting and downloading apps and more! This class is for new users only. * Please bring your iPad to this session.*

Graphics in Office 2010

Course Dates: May 6, 2013 at 4:15 PM to 5:30 PM

Location: Technology - Main Training Lab

Description: This session will focus on graphic objects used in Office 2010 applications - graphics, text boxes, word art, auto shapes, etc. Participants will learn how to use all of the editing features including colors, inserts, rotation, ordering, grouping and much more!

Technology Tuesday

Course Dates: May 7, 2013 at 4:15 PM to 5:30 PM

Description: This session will provide participants with technology work time to explore applications, ask questions, update web links and portal sites and get updates on the latest news regarding technology in the classroom. This is also a great time to work through ideas for the classroom.

That's QRazy! - QR Codes in the Classroom

Description: You've probably seen these strange square codes in magazines, newspapers, even on food wrappers at fast food shops. These are QR codes. It's a code that holds information that can be scanned using a webcam, smart phone or iDevice. Tell Me What You Think with Poll Everywhere

Using OneNote

Course Dates: May 16, 2013 at 4:15 PM to 5:30 PM

Location: Technology - Mini Training Lab

Description: OneNote is an idea processor, notebook & organizer of information that doesn't fit well into e-mail, calendar or formal documents. One Note allows the user to consolidate all of their information (i.e. files, internet links, and pictures) into one place for quick access. Participants will learn the basic features of One Note and how to apply them to their job roles and classroom management.
