Cool Tool: Discovery Education Streaming
To Access Discover Education, you will use the link to MGSD's Digital Resources page, and then scroll down until you see Discover Education. You will use the same username and password you use to log into your laptop!
Please contact April, Tracey, or Damien to discuss how you could best incorporate Discovery Education into a lesson or lessons this quarter.
News From The Media Center
Every April, the American Association of School Librarians (AASL) celebrates school librarians and their media programs. Thank you for the generous support that you give to us on a daily basis. We enjoy working with you and helping MHS students. Please don’t hesitate to ask us for assistance and/or resources for your classes.
Laptop Checks are going on this week and next
Help Desk will be closed on the 22nd and 26th so they students can assist other schools with their laptop checks
Please be careful about the sites you visit. I’ve had a lot of issues with students and teachers being spammed with pop-up ads. If this happens to you come to the Help Desk and I’ll fix it.
Recent news has reported a surge in ransomware on computers. Please don’t pay anyone to “unlock your computer”
I can’t stress this enough -- if something is wonky with your computer. Try a restart. That will help.

Caroline's French classes are making videos about school life everything from testing to lunch to school day done in French. Then they are sharing with French classes at 4 local high schools who are doing their own videos. Great example of "Crossing the line!"
