Jewelry Bar Display
The look of your Jewelry Bars should be simple and clean using O2 blue, linen, and white. It is suggested to make it experiential so the customer makes an emotional connection. Using the charm trays, tweezers and votives that come in your kit make them more likely to choose + fall in love with the charms that they put in their votive (their mini shopping cart) and less likely to just window shop.
{Elements of a Jewelry Bar}
Product
- This is the most important part of the Jewelry Bar, so you really want to show it off by not having your table too cluttered and making it the main focus.
- Make a completed themed locket for your jewelry bar to show off and leave the other items unassembled so they can play with them.
- What comes in your kit is a great start to show guests how the process of creating a locket works and allows them to touch, feel and play with the jewelry. If you can invest a little more then I would try to ensure you have one of each finish of locket, an assortment of different chain styles and maybe add some birthstones and a few initials to your charm collection. Hosting your launch party and earning the hostess rewards on that party is a great way to increase your display.
Charm Trays to display the charms
- Charm trays come with your starter kit. If needing more they can be purchased in the back office ($5).
Tweezers to pick up the delicate charms
- Tweezers come with your starter kit. If needing more they can be purchased in the back office ($2).
Votives to act as their "shopping cart"
- Glass Votives come with your starter kit. If needing more they can be purchased in the back office. ($2.25 for 5). *Other designers have also found cheaper at retailers such as IKEA.
Rounder or T-Bar to display the chains
- Currently the rounder is unavailable in the back office for purchase.
- A tall white T-Bar display can be found online at gemsondisplay.com or can find items at local stores like Target, Michaels, Joanns, Hobby Lobby.
- Origami Owl Blue branded tablecloth available for purchase in the back office $30
- Cheaper alternatives that other designers have found:

Linen Busts to display completed creations
- Origami Owl Linen branded busts are available for purchase in the back office under Supply Orders.
-- Small 8" ($10)
-- Medium 11" ($12)
-- Large 16" ($14)
-- There are also linen collapsible busts available. - Other alternatives can also be found at Joanns, Michaels or online. Try to avoid getting black since not really within the brand colors and also they attract lint/hair very easily.
Other optional items can include:
- Table - check with your hostess to see if she has somewhere to set up. A kitchen island or dining room table can work well too. Or she may have a folding table so you don't have to lug yours in.
- Owl - if you put an owl on your table they really want it to be all white. Olive Owl is available in back office ($14). Otherwise can find others at local stores such as Michaels, Target or Homegoods.
- White plates or bowls to display items found at retailers such as IKEA, HomeGoods, Target, Pier One, Cost Plus World Market.
- Bed Risers to adjust the height of the table to more of a bar height so guests don't have to bend over as much. Found at stores such as Bed Bath + Beyond.
- Small Mirror so they can see their creation on themselves
- Magnifying glass - some need help in seeing small details in charms
- Small Lamp for better lighting
- Glass vase or bowl to hold Fortune Cookie pouches - a lot of people come up to your table to inquire what they are.
- Stand or square vase to hold up Take Out Menus
- Business Cards
- Booking Tree - see this newsletter for additional information on them.
- A Look Book or a slideshow on a tablet with various locket photos to give them some inspiration.

{TIPS}
- Remember that you want to make your table to be easy to set up and you don't want to be lugging in a bunch of stuff. Making it seem easy and duplicatable makes it more likely to find team members that think I can do that!
- You can add to your display over time so don't think you have to invest in all right from the start.
