Molecular and Animal Cloning
Cloning technology is creating genetically identical molecules in cells, plants or animals. There are two types of cloning: molecular and animal cloning.
Molecular Cloning is inserting a new piece of DNA into a cell, so that it can be studied and replicated. This type of cloning is used to plenty and map a gene.
Animal cloning is making an exact genetic copy of an organism like a sheep or mice embryo splitting or somatic cell nuclear transfer. Animal cloning is used to create the best, strongest, and healthiest animals for farmers.
It can also be used to protect endangered species. Cloning also helps in studying genetic diseases as well as aging and cancer.
