Mrs. Koplin's 4K News
News for the week of September 8th
Bear Theme
Thank you for helping your child with the transition to 4K over the past week. The first three days were fantastic and I enjoyed getting to know each student. We are meeting new friends and learning our daily routines.
*This week we are starting our “Bear Theme” and a color theme. We will be reading and retelling the story Brown Bear, Brown Bear, What Do You See?. On Friday, each student will bring home a ziploc bag of pictures to keep. Be sure to have your child retell the story to you using these pictures! Click below to see a video of the Brown Bear book.

Reminders
* It is important for your child to bring his/her folder to school every day. It is an important link between home and school. Please help your child remember to bring their 4K folder back each day.
*Scholastic Book orders are due Tuesday, September 15th.You can send the paper order back to school or you can order online at www.Scholastic.com/bookclubs using the class activation code GP4G8.
*This Friday, September 11th will be our first library day. Each 4K student will get to choose a book to check out. Please help your child remember to bring his or her library book back to school before the next Friday so they are able to check out a new book.
* Every Tuesday the school sends home a yellow Tuesday Newsday Folder with the youngest sibling in the family. This means every 4K student will receive one. These are filled with important newsletters, fliers, etc... from the school (some will apply to 4K students and some may not). Please take the items out and send the yellow folders back to school in addition to your child's 4K folder each Thursday to be refilled for the next week.
