TBTS, Writing, & ELA Common Assessments
The purpose of the ELA Common Assessments that were completed last month is to reflect on and discuss students strengths and needs and determine instructional strategies and groupings for students above, at, and below grade level expectations. For the next two TBTs in February check-in with students writing using their writing samples of below, on and above grade level anchors and with the results of the ELA Common Assessments again to determine instructional strategies and grouping for students.
Also, each grade level needs to refresh students writing evidence on our rolling bulletin board in the lobby!
