MEMORY GAME
K-12
Big Idea
Directions
2. Provide students with time to review their materials, notes, or books with the purpose of creating questions about the content.
3. Instruct students to write questions on one card and the corresponding answers on another card.
4. Provide students with time to research and create their questions and answers. This step is typically done by individual students but it would be permissible to allow pairs of students to create the questions and answer collaboratively.
5. Instruct pairs or small groups to collect all the cards and to shuffle them.
6. On the floor or desk lay all the cards out with the questions or answer side showing.
7. Lead students to match the question with the corresponding answer card. You can also have students lay all cards face down and play a game of memory as well.
Variations
2. You can differentiate and use different color of paper/cards to have different levels of questions/answers.
