EES Honors Heroes
Mrs. Burgess’s class also honored a hero recently. One of her Kindergarten student's father left on a 12 month deployment so the class collected snacks and items for a care package to thank him for his service. Prayers for safe return for this soldier!

LEADERFEST - NOV. 16TH
As part of our Positive Behavior System, we are holding student celebrations at the end of each 9 weeks. Students who meet the following criteria will be permitted to participate in our first “Leaderfest” on November 16th:
· No more than 3 unexcused absences, tardies, or leave earlies.
· No more than 3 missing assignments.
· No office or bus behavior referrals.
· No teacher report of repeated behavior issue.
These celebrations will highlight students who have good attendance, good work habits, and good leader habits throughout the year! Leaderfest will take place during grade level specials. Students will have games and activities and can earn prizes. Attendance, Tardies, Work, Bus Behavior, and Classroom Behavior are important to STUDENT SUCCESS! If your child cannot participate this time, help them set a goal to earn it next 9 weeks!
Operation Christmas Paws
Last year students, families, local churches, and community members were able to assist about several children and needy families. The County is not sponsoring a County Angel Tree this year so we will need donations more than ever! With your help, we are confident that we can provide a memorable Christmas for just as many families again this year. It is a blessing that so many of our students want to help sponsor an angel off our tree to help others! Permission forms to participate in this community project will be coming home later this month. If your family, neighbors, co-workers, place of business, or church would like to sponsor students or help with this project, please contact our school office.
