News and Notes from the Principal

Happy FriYay!

With an ever changing landscape as it pertains to COVID protocols, please remain mindful and ensure that students that are sick, positive or have pending results do not come to school, but rather complete their assignments via google classroom!

Please see the following message from Bryan County School Superintendent, Dr. Brooksher:

"The Governor and Georgia Department of Public Health recently released a new administrative order to give guidance to Georgia school districts regarding COVID-19. The intent of this amended administrative order is to have more kids in school by allowing asymptomatic students that are identified as a close contact to remain in school no matter their vaccination status. As a result, asymptomatic students will no longer be required to quarantine. As we continue to navigate through the COVID-19 pandemic, we must remain flexible and update procedures, as necessary. Based on the latest amendment to the Georgia Department of Public Health Administrative Order, the district’s COVID-19 Guidelines have been revised. Please take a moment to review the updated guidelines for Bryan County Schools. Please note protocols may change at any time, but rest assured Bryan County Schools will promptly notify you should any additional changes occur."

BCS COVID-19 Updates

I hope you all have a restful and relaxing long 3-day weekend!

See Ya, Love Ya, Bye!
