United Way
The United Way Giving Campaign will begin on Monday, October 23rd!
A huge shout-out to the CFES Faculty and Staff as you surpassed your employee goal last year. The Faculty and Staff goal for this year will be $2500.00.
Patti Porter will distribute and collect all employee pledge forms. They will be in your mailbox last Friday afternoon. Please fill them out and turn them in to her box once complete. They are all due by Friday, October 27th. Grade level chairs will receive additional literature which tells more about United Way Charities. The Educational Foundation and a few other organizations receive a large percentage of each donation and this is annotated in the charities guide. Any amount is such a great help and will guide us on school goal of $2500.00
See Patti Porter if you have any questions!

Calendar Options - Your Voice is Needed!
The calendar options for the 2018-2019 and 2019-2020 school years are now available for community review and feedback through the division's online e-Town Hall. As visitors to the forum will see, the primary difference in each set of calendar options is the placement of professional learning days for staff. The first option for the 2018-2019 school year also includes an extra day at Spring Break, which could be used as a makeup day, if needed.
Parents, students and school staff are encouraged to share their opinions on the school calendar options by visiting the e-Town Hall before midnight Wednesday, Oct. 25. All feedback will be considered before final recommendations are made to the Superintendent and School Board in November. A summary of feedback will also be provided to the School Board as part of the calendar adoption process.
