Week of May 2- May 6th
WHAT DID WE LEARN THIS WEEK?
Math: This week in math we are reviewing problem solving and different strategies to use in word problems.
Reading: This week we learned about how good readers can use their strategies and synthesize what they read or heard.
Writing: We are completing our how-to procedural writing.
Science: We learned about solids, liquids, and gases and changes with heating and cooling.
STAAR TESTING NEXT WEEK-NO VISITORS ON CAMPUS!
Don't forget that next week, 3rd-5th grad is taking the STAAR test on Monday-Wednesday. Please remember there are no visitors on campus. I will be administering the test on Monday and Tuesday, but we are going to have a special substitute both days! Mr. M is going to be back!! :) This is a surprise.
Teacher Appreciation Thank you!
Thank you so much for the love, wonderful gifts, and sweet things you have done for me this week for Teacher Appreciation! It has been such a wonderful year and I feel so blessed to have had the opportunity to teach all of your sweet children!
Kinder Performing Tomorrow at Celebrate Carroll
Tomorrow, May 6th, Kindergarten is performing at Celebrate Carroll. Mrs. Coday has been working so hard on our performance. We would love for you to join us! They do not have to worry about wearing anything specific for the performance.
