From Your Loving King
May 10th 1773, this Law is established, we are now taxing tea. Yes tea, we need this to pay off our dept from war. We have won the land, pay your taxes and you shall be rewarded. Thank you, The King.
This picture shows a tea pot, representing that tea is being taxed
This King may look nice, but the colonist hate him for wanting more and more money to pay for new taxes.
Pay your Taxes
This is a reminder to, well, pay your tea taxes.
The colonies payed their taxes fairly the first time they came around, but eventually the second time the taxes came the people stared getting mad. The colonists soon hated the taxes the King made them pay.
