Parents, thank you for your engagement in our recent Literacy/STEM night event. Students, parents, and the staff really enjoyed the event! In addition, last night many of our families participated in our Chick-fil-a night at the Dacula location. Your engagement in these and many other events continues to build our sense of community at Alcova.
Next Tuesday is a Digital Learning Day for our students. Students are becoming more comfortable with the process for digital learning, and we anticipate another successful experience for our students. However, please reach out to your child's teacher if you have any questions or concerns.
We will also celebrate our recent fund raiser success with a "Day of Awesomeness" sponsored by our PTA next Wednesday. We are anticipating that this will be an enjoyable experience for our students as they have an opportunity to participate in a variety of outdoor activities during their specials time.

Day of Awesomeness
Dear Alcova Families,
Veterans Day is coming up on November 11th and we want to honor our Veterans as well as those actively serving in the military.
We want honor our Veterans is with a slide show presentation. If you would like your family member to be included in the presentation, please fill out the Google form and submit a picture. The picture can be in uniform, but civilian clothes are fine too. We are only able to accept digital photos. If you’d like to submit a photo, please use the link below. Photos must be submitted by Wednesday, November 9th in order to be included in the slide show.

Emergency - "Day of" Transportation Change Requests
If you have a emergency transportation change request you must email email@example.com for the change to be processed. Please use this email only for "day of" emergency changes, where you were not able to send a note in with your student. Change request must be received no later than 1:30 pm to guarantee the change request will be processed.
It is hard to believe that it is time to start thinking about the holiday season. Please check out the flyer below from the Salvation Army if you are in need of a little assistance this year.
