Road Trip Nation
Students can access all of these videos and career interest resources and surveys through their NAVIANCE accounts.
Log onto Aspen's homepage and click on the "N' icon for Naviance. Road Trip Nation is found under the 'Career's Tab
Road Trip Nation was started by three college graduates who didn't know what to do with their life. So after college, they bought a mechanically questionable RV, painted it green, and decided to travel the country asking people who do what they love how they figured it out.
15 years later, that road trip has become an organization dedicated to helping people find career and life fulfillment. In their fleet of RVs, they crisscross the globe, journeying from rugged back roads to sleek superhighways, subsisting off unnaturally colored gas station snacks, sleeping in any empty parking lot we can find—just so they can talk to the people who figured out how to build a career around their own unique combination of interests.
They've talked to everyone from Supreme Court justices to lobstermen and used their insights to shape every career resource they make. The goal? To give you the tools to live a life doing what matters to you.
52 roadtrips and interviewed 922 leaders creating 7690 videos on struggle, triumph, and self discovery that have been broken into 48 themes and 29 interests.
College Searching
Use Naviance: Log on through your Aspen account. On your homepage, you will see the ‘N’ logo for Naviance and it will automatically log you in through your Plymouth Naviance account.
- Go to ‘Colleges’ Tab on upper right
- Click on ‘Supermatch’ under ‘Find Your Fit’ box title
- Use criteria found on top horizontal toolbar to determine your college priorities.
Be sure to use scattergrams under the ‘Admissions’ tab while exploring each college. Scattergrams can be critical for assisting in creating a well balanced college application list!
Don't forget to favorite (heart) colleges so that you can compare/contrast and return later!
Got Plans?
Please reach out to your counselor if you are still needing help with your after high school plans. If you need a transcript, help with a plan or application, questions about SAT scores, admission requirements, anything - please let us know, we are still here for you!
If you have yet to decide your path and need assistance, please let us know where you are in your decision making and we can help you with the next step.
For those of you who have been admitted to a college or university, please see below for a tool that will keep you up to date on admission changes due to the coronavirus outbreak. If you have questions regarding deposits, new student events, due dates, anything, you will find it all there.
We Miss You!
