Ski Lessons are Coming Soon
If you want to be a chaperone on ski trips, you need to have a volunteer application and background check on file. If you haven't already done so, now is the time to get online at www.kpbsd.org and fill out an application. The application process only takes about 5 minutes, but it takes some time for background checks to clear, so the sooner you get this done the more likely you will be cleared in time to chaperone.
Students should be sent to school on ski days with a cold lunch. There are no microwaves available at the lodge. Students should also have appropriate gear for being outside all day in weather which could include snow pants, gloves, hats, coats, a change of clothes for if they get wet, and goggles or sunglasses. Gear should be packed in such a way that students can carry it in and out of the lodge, and students should understand that they are responsible for all of their personal belongings.
Dates for ski days are: February 20 &27, March 6, 20 & 27, and April 3 with a possible make up day on April 10 if necessary.
As always, contact the school if you have any questions or concerns.
