October Phone Conferences

We look forward to talking with you at your conference. We will focus on ensuring that your HR Spreadsheet is 100% accurate. It is essential that you have reviewed it with Kimberly Scott and have submitted your HR8 and/or relevant information to correct any mistakes PRIOR to this phone conference if possible. Please CAREFULLY review names, FTE, grade levels, certification, etc. and let's make sure we have all the right people in the right places at this time. This will help us as we work to work to create a revised budget process for this year. At your conference you should also be prepared to share any concerns you are having with staff in regards to performance issues. We will also discuss certification, renewals, and answer any questions that you might have as well. Don't forget your time/date can be found on the spreadsheet located here.

Volunteer Process is Now Online

Reminder that NO paper applications will be accepted. Those are being returned to schools if we receive any. To keep the process streamlined, we have to be able to process electronically at this point. We hope this will be a win-win for involved. Thank you to the wonderful staff at your school that have helped with this process and for Shannon Williamson in our office who have all worked diligently to make it happen. Substitute Recognition

On September 19th, we rolled out a Substitute Recognition Program for this year. Substitutes will be entered into drawings for prizes for working on Fridays and Mondays. All Sub Coordinators were given a number of Shout Outs and koozies to give out to substitutes who go above and beyond. These Shout Outs will be combined with Friday/Monday entries for a monthly prize. All entries will be entered into a larger semester ending prize. All of these entries along with other key data points will culminate in finalists for a Substitute of the Year, who will be recognized at a year end Substitute Appreciation Reception. We hope this will help show our commitment and appreciation to all of our substitutes!
