We are going to Sunset Bowling Lanes on Feb 18th. Our Goal focus will be exploring scientific principals of velocity of moving objects. We will make hypotheses about fast vs. slow moving objects.
We will also be addressing students social goals such as turn taking, waiting appropriately, and requesting using their level of communication.

Book focus #1: Places on a Map by Betsy Seltzer
-Our students have learned about how to identify different geographical locations on maps. They learned how to find a city and town on maps, and how to locate rivers, oceans, mountains on maps, and to determine the differences between geographical (natural) locations and Man-Made locations.
Book focus #2: Cooper's Trip Across America By Emily Weinberger
-Our students have read this past week about Cooper's trip Across America. Cooper goes to different states, and visits his friends and talk about where they work. For example, Cooper visited his friend Lindsay in California. Lindsay works at a surf shop by the ocean. An ocean is very big and deep and have salty water etc. Cooper visits his friends in different states and talks about the jobs they have as related to where they live.
