Delran High School Broadcast

Message from Mr. Finkle
Here are a few reminders/announcements for the summer months!
Entrance to DHS During the Summer
The Main Office is under construction during the summer. The office staff has been relocated to Room107. The main entrance to DHS is across the parking lot from the Administration Building. Please use the double doors to the right of the flagpole to gain entrance.
Goodbye and Good Luck
I want to wish Happy Retirement to Lena Galati and Renee Bruno as they ride off into the sunset and end their careers here at Delran High School. They have meant a great deal to so many students and faculty that we cannot say enough about the hole they leave. We wish them the best in their retirement.
Class Schedules
Just a reminder that any course changes must be completed by July 31, 2019. No changes will be entertained after that date.
Family ID
FamilyID will be available on July 1, 2019. It is imperative that this be completed before school begins in order for your child to be "in good standing". If it is not completed, your child will not have the privileges offered to all Delran High School students. Please find the link HERE as well as on our homepage.
Registration begins on July 1st. Please remember that if you already used FamilyID for fall sports, that IS NOT the registration page. You must go back in and register your child again for the school year. If the registration is not completed by the beginning of the fall season, students are NOT ELIGIBLE to participate.
Should you have any questions or concerns regarding FamilyID, please direct your questions to Denise Stellwag at dstellwag@delranschools.org or 856-461-6100 x3000.
Summer Assignments
Please do not wait until the last minute to begin working on summer assignments. All assignments will be available on our web site shortly. Also, don't forget about Delran Reads! We have great selections this year and I look forward to discussing the books with your child when they return in September.
Freshman Orientation
Freshman Orientation will be held on Wednesday, August 28th from 8:30am to 1:30pm. Freshman ID pictures will be taken at that time.
There will also be a parent orientation from 12:45 - 1:30! We look forward to welcoming you to Delran High School and into the DHS community.
First Day & Back-to-School Night
The first day of school is Thursday, September 5th! The Senior Trip Meeting will be held on September 5th at 6pm, and Back-to-School Night will be held on September 5th at 6:45pm.
Enjoy your summer, get plenty of rest and be safe! We look forward to seeing you in September!

Athletic News
The Class of 2019 Hall of Fame Induction Ceremony is quickly approaching which means we need nominations for athletes, teams, contributors and coaches. If you have someone in mind who you feel should be a part of this special group at Delran High School, please click here for the Hall of Fame Nomination Form. Please print out the form and return it to the Director of Athletics by July 3, 2019. The form will ask for specific information that will help the committee to decide who should be a part of the Class of 2019. There are also hard copies located in the main office. If you have any question, please do not hesitate to reach out.
FamilyID is open for all students who are interested in playing a Fall 2019 sport at DHS. To access the FamilyID for athletics, please click here. The link is also posted on the DHS web page. Registration will close on Monday, July 15th. Please submit all valid physicals as soon as possible so that the school physician can approve them. If your child is currently diagnosed with asthma or your child takes an inhaler, please complete the Asthma Treatment Plan Form that can be found under Athletics on the Delran High School page. If your child's vision is less than 20/40 in either eye, you must turn in a note from an eye doctor stating that your child can participate in athletics. If you have any questions, please do not hesitate to contact the Director of Athletics or the Attendance Clerk.
Also, please understand that comlpetion of FamilyID for athletics is NOT THE SAME as the registration for the high school. PLease see Mr. Finkle's message for more information.
